Welcome to the Age of Monsters page! here I'll try to explain a bit about some of the story, characters, and of course, the monsters themselves!
PLOT SUMMARY: The Age of Monsters takes place in the year 2860 A.D. (after this year, the A.D. would be changed to A.G.C., which stands for After the Great Crisis). The story begins with a meteor heading for Earth. It crashes into a mediumsized, remote, government stationed island, known as Devil's Rock, it's location is in the bermuda triangle. (not actual location! as the island doesn't really exsist in real life OI think!) It crashes into the island, causing quite an explosion. (oh for anyone wondering about the size of Devi'ls rock, It is aproximately 75 miles in cricumference, 50 miles in diameter) This meteor is followed by several others. Sometime latera group of three (because the government wanted to avoid any publicity, they kept it small) scientists (Mike, Mark, and Frank) head to the Devil's Rock to see if anything has survived and what the radiation levels are. However, they are soon about to find that they.....are not alone on the island.......The Age of Monsters has BEGUN!!!! K.G.D.F. (Kaiju. Global. Defense. Force.)- specializes in maintaining, tracking, capturing, and defeating Kaiju. Arkonians- An alien race responsible for the creation of pretty much almost all of the monsters. Bent on conquering the galaxy. Heroes/Villians- ordinary people mutated by the effects of the immense solanum radiation capable of lots of destruction (but not as much as the kaiju of course, well, save for the really evil ones)
Now then, let's discuss some of the characters, we'll start with everyones favorite; The KAIJU!!!!!
Bio: Calvinosaurus (Cal- Vin- O- Sore- Us) was found on the Isle of Demons by mark and his team, along with Cerebus, Sheago, Stegoladon, Garasharp, Creval, Kappeny, and Mokele-Mbm-be. Calvinosaurus was one of the four ancient guardians, along side Kappeny and Cerebus (although Cerebus and Calvinosaurus often don't get along, they have been known to work together) Calvinosaurus is a bizzare mixture of Dinosaurian, and possible Human DNA, as well as several other unregonizible strands of DNA. Supposedly Created along side Nightmare, Scarecrow, and the rest of the Bioweapons, for the Arkonian Empire's Elite army, Calvinosaurus Destroyed Countless worlds Before he went rouge and was abandoned on earth, On the Isle of Demons, alongside the above mentioned Kaiju. Here, Calvinosaurus and his fellow kaiju were worshiped as gods, and remained in peace of hundreds of thousands of years, before a cerain Crisis happened that would change the world forever. Ever Since The Isle of Demons arose before it's 500 year mark, Calvinosaurus and the other Kaiju on the island have since fled it. The United nations have made Calvinosaurus one of the few Kaiju to be allowed to roam free, instead of being captured and moved to DaiKaiju Island, since he usually doesn't harm humans unless provoked. Mark is currently trying to develope a device that actually summons Calvinosaurus or any of the other "non-harmful" kaiju in the nearby area to deal with threats of new monsters. Calvinosaurus also seems to follow mark and the rest of the K.G.D.F. around, and has apparently taken a liking to Chion.
Weaknesses: Cold (if exposed to long, he literally, turns to ice), electricity, Neck is really vunerable. Even though he can regenerate lost limbs, it still might tak him awhile to do so, depending on how much damage he has taken in, High Pitched noises can cause him to go berserk as it hurts him.
Bio: Cerebus (Sir- Ree- Bus) was discovered On The Isle of Demons, alongside Kappeny, Stegoladon, Garasharp, Calvinosaurus, Sheago, Creval, and Mokele-Mbm-be. He was one of the gaurdians of the island alongside Calvinosaurus and Kappeny (the fourth has remained unknown). Created by the Arkonian empire through Insecticoid and Cephalopod DNA as well as various other DNA from other species, He was abandoned on earth after being deemed to rouge alongside the other Kaiju on the island. Although getting along with his other fellow gaurdians, Cerebus and Calvinosaurus have been known to be at odds with each other for some of the most trivial reasons. (although some witness's have reported that He and Calvinosaurus have worked together to take down a common enemy) Worshipped as a god on The Isle of Demons, He remained in peace for centuries until the events of The Great Crisis. Cerebus is one of the few Kaiju to be left alone by the K.G.D.F., and tends to stick to the warm waters off the coast of florida. He doesn't attack humans unless provoked, and will normally leave his territory to go hunt for whales. The biggest issue with Cerebus seems to be when he decides to beach himself on land to bask in the sun, more often than not, a public beach area. Although they have tried, the K.G.D.F. have been unsuccessful in removing him from wherever he has decided to bask. Weaknesses: Although amphibious, he cannot remain out of water for a period of no longer than 5 days. Also, Fire seems to be something he like to avoid. He also is vunerable to Cold (hence why he frequents warm areas only)
Bio: Discovered on what was left on Devil's Rock, alongside Argator, Terafasaurus, Kragorah, Dragglar, and Tounge. Arsinotrix (Are-Sin-O-Tricks) was first witnessed battling Terafasaurus by the scientist Frank Ewllerr, who fled the scene shortly after. Sometime Later, Terafasaurus and Arsinotrix's brawl led them led them to L.A. The battle was fierce and the champion ended up being Terafasaurus, who, thanks to the newly formed K.G.D.F's intervention, left Arsinotrix lying on the beach rather than eat him. Since the battle, Arsinotrix has been recovering from it's wounds thanks to some help from the K.G.D.F. and is currently being held at Daikaiju Island. The United Nations, as well as K.G.D.F. have been speculating whether or not Arsinotrix should be allowed to roam free once It recovers from I'ts wounds. A major concern is it's appetite, which, besides plant life, oddly enough includes radiation. Though this might be a good thing since Arsinotrix might be able to clean up radioactive waste, what happens when his food supply runs out and the nearest source is a city with a nuclear power plant? Arsinotrix has been known to ignore anything standing in it's way of food, which includes people, buildings, and national landmarks. Weaknesses: Underbelly is very soft, meaning all an enemy kaiju needs to do is to flip him over and strike. Not very bright.
Bio: The biggest Kaiju ever recorded, El Gigantae (El-Ji-Gan-Tay) is a force to be reckoned with. Although not intentionally harmful, El Gigantae views humanity as on would an ant. Discovered in an extinct volcanoe, he was given his name by the mexican officer who found him. El Gigantae managed to be lured to Daikaiju Island by the K.G.D.F., but is frequently allowed to leave to get all his burroing out of his system (taking it out on the surrounding ocean floor) but always returns, though the reasons aren't known at this time. (It is theroized that since this is one of the only places he is able to find peace that he decides to remain here) The biggest (lol) problem with El Gigantae seems to be his constant burrowing, which tears up the Earth and causes destruction. The K.G.D.F. is currently looking in to this problem. Weaknesses: Can drown if exposed to water to long. Avoids fire. Avoids really, really, Really bright places, Not very intelligent.
Bio One of the smallest Kaiju ever recorded (besides King Rat and the large Sheago male spider) Creval (Kree-Vuhl) has one of the most amazing survival rates for any Kaiju ever recorded (second only to Calvinosaurus). Discovered on the Isle of Demons along side Mokele-Mbm-be, Cerebus, Garasharp, Calvinosaurus, Stegoladon, Kappeny, and Sheago, Creval was abandoned there by the Arkonian Empire after being deemed to rouge to be a part of their mighty Daikaiju Army. Labled as a Demon on the Island by the natives, Creval was somewhat feared and worshipped on the island. OFten clashing against her fellow Kaiju. She lived on the Isle of Demons for centuries in relative peace until the events of The Great Crisis. Following her escape from the Isle of Demons, Creval headed for New Mexico before being captured by the K.G.D.F. and was transported to DaiKaiju Island, becoming one of it's first inhabitants. Creval is an escape artist and has to monitered constantly. Weaknesses: Her small size, Fire.
Bio: Discovered sleeping by Frank on what remained of Devil's Rock, Argator (Argg-Guh-Tore) 's slumber was disturbed when Frank's walki-talkie went off, Enraged, Argator proceeded to chase the small human that dared to disturb him while he slept. However the chase was cut short when Frank came up with an Idea on leading the beast towards the area where Arsinotrix and Terafasaurus were brawling. All three of them ended up tumbling into the ocean, and while Terafasaurus and Arsinotrix wound up in L.A. Argator ended up in Sydney, Austraila and proceeded to terrorize the city before the K.G.D.F. Interveined and captured him, bringing him to Daikaiju Island. Although somewhat an odd relationship, Argator seems to be on good terms with Calvinosaurus as the two have teamed up multiple times.
Weaknesses: Doesn't like water, Wings are vunerable (but will heal completely if given the time to) Cold.
Bio: Sent to Earth as part of the Arkonian Invasion, alonside Kalawash, Fang, Krongasaurus, Thunderatops, and a few others, Razor (Ray-Zorr) was sent to destroy Earth's Naval armies, a task at which he proved to be quite succesful at, and probably would have completed had it not been the arrival of Kappeny, Cerebus and Tounge. Out Matched, Razor fought bravely and was defeated and assumed to be dead, however, he later washed up on the shores of Japan, unconcious, but still alive. Thanks to the K.G.D.F. Razor was moved to Daikaiju Island, Where he seems to have grown less agressive.
Weaknesses: Extreme amounts of heat, Can only survie on Land for about a month, Electricity, Large amount of Pnemonia can severely weaken him, high frequency beams/waves.
Bio: Another small Kaiju (though not as small as Creval, but still small by kaiju standards) Kalawash (Call-Ah-Wahsh) came to Earth as part of the Arkonian Invasion.
Weaknesses:
Bio: Technodra (Teck-No-Drah) is one of the oddest kaiju (along side Argator and Mixer) as it is completely organinc, yet still mechanical. Arriving on Earth in a meteor, similar to how the rest of the kaiju got there, Technodra is one of the few Kaiju not to be made by the Arkonian Empire, as it is native to it's home planet in the Ultrasisk System.
